It has been said that in Meru, Kenya, the teacher-to-student ratio is 1:60. With classrooms of this size, it is rare for students to get the attention they need to be successful. While they may attend class faithfully, many students will end up leaving school illiterate or semi-illiterate.
The Be United in Christ Outreach Ministry sponsored Bible teachers and children’s pastors to visit this school. They taught the Word of God and invited students to receive Christ into their hearts. Then, they visited with the students, speaking into their lives and passing out school supplies to those in need.
“I am fully convinced, my dear brothers and sisters, that you are full of goodness. You know these things so well you can teach each other all about them.” Romans 15:14
